A Virtual Terminal allows you to take payments where ever you are as long as you have an internet connection. With a virtual terminal, you can accept payments through the telephone or mail order. All you have to do as a merchant is log into your virtual terminal online and input in the customer’s details that they have provided. The customer’s bank will then try and match the details that have been inputted and if the details are authorised the purchase will be approved and payment will reach your merchant account within 3 days.
